I am an English major in my final year of undergraduate studies and am in my second year of service for ASSOU. AS Chief Justice, my responsibilities include ensuring legitimacy of ASSOU by making sure all branches of government adhere to Robert’s Rules of Order, providing support for members of ASSOU and the student body in the event of grievances, and participating in Student Conduct Boards. Joining ASSOU helped me to jump out of my comfort zone and cultivate new friendships with amazing people.

I am in my final year of my graduate program, and have served in ASSOU going on three years. As an associate justice, my goal is to help hone the focus of ASSOU meetings, encourage adherence to Robert’s Rules of Order, and help keep campus leaders on track. My goal this year is to help build ASSOU back as we continue to transition out of a COVID-restricted world, while still keeping in mind that the pandemic is ongoing and that we may have to pivot with the University.

I am a second-year Honors Scholar at SOU, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Rhetoric and Reason. As an associate justice, I aim to support ASSOU’s mission to increase transparency, encourage adherence to Robert’s Rule of Order, and consistently enforce bylaw regulations. In addition, since this is my first year in ASSOU, I am excited to help support the student body.
