No longer accepting Board of Trustee applications at this time. When this position becomes available, a campus wide email will go out, so make sure to read your SOU email!
ASSOU Officer Qualifications
- Any student enrolled at Southern Oregon University who pays the Student Incidental Fee may run or apply to be a member of ASSOU.
- To become an officer of ASSOU, a member shall be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in the current term of involvement and shall show evidence of actively working toward a degree.
- To become an officer of ASSOU, a member shall be in good academic standing and abiding by the student code of conduct with the university. Conscientious management of potential conflicts of interest is essential to upholding the trust and credibility of our decision-making processes entitled to ASSOU. Therefore, no ASSOU officer shall be a voting member of the Southern Oregon University Board of Trustees and hold a position in ASSOU.
