Free Lawyer for SOU Students
ASSOU funds a private attorney to provide legal help for students in need.
Students are entitled to a free half-hour consultation with the attorney; this opportunity can save students hundreds of dollars. Consultation topics can include questions about court, starting a business, interest in law school, and much more.
To schedule an appointment with the attorney, please complete the form below. Until further notice all consults are being conducted through phone or Zoom. The attorney will reach out to students directly via a phone call.
*If your issue is related to the university or an SOU faculty or staff member, the ASSOU attorney cannot help you as it would be considered a conflict of interest. If you have an issue with the university, please email dos@sou.edu directly or search for a community-based attorney.
